Welcome to Gizmo Lives On

A living memorial to Alec Sheikh Smith, USMC He was a loving and kind man, may we spread his compassion and grace. Founded by his sister after his suicide on a pathway to healing. We aim to raise suicide and mental health awareness as well as cover adoption fees for vets to adopt rescue dogs and we are working on setting up a scholarship program for vets to become therapists. If we raise enough money, we hope to open a center where we can then hire them as well. We throw online and in person events as well as sell merchandise to fundraise. However we depend heavily on our donors, please consider helping us in our mission and sign up as a monthly donor, you'll get first access to all events, VIP status and discounts on merch!

Did you know we buy vests for Military dogs?

Each year we provide at least one vest for a military dog as our government sadly does not always supply them. Alec was a marine and loved animals so we proudly do this in his honor. We sadly cannot post picture updates as these dogs are active duty and it could put them in danger, thank you for understanding and supporting us in this cause as well!
